Hailing from Van Nuys, CA, bassist Andrew Walley has been playing bass for 10 years. Being the grandson of the one and only Denny Walley, it wouldn't be long before he would inherit the music of Frank Zappa. At the age of 17 he guested with Project Object featuring Ike Willis and Denny. Since then he has played with P/O on several occasions and attended Berklee College of Music. Andrew's bass style is a mix of anything and everything. With the concepts of great bassists like Jaco Pastorius, Phil Lesh, Geddy Lee, and Flea, Andrew concocts his own brew of groove. Playing the music of Zappa is a passion of his, and believes Frank's music must be played. Andrew is currently living in the Boston Area, teaching privately, and playing original jam/funk with Mondo Gecko.
